Important Reminder: Please Close the Field Gate When Leaving

Could we please ask all customers to ensure the enclosed field gate is closed when leaving?

Unfortunately, yesterday evening we had an incident where a customer left the gate open and allowed another vehicle to enter the field. The occupants of that vehicle had not booked the field. They drove their car to the top of the field and then found themselves unable to leave because they did not have the access code to open the gate.

Rather than leaving immediately when the next customer arrived, they remained at the top of the field with their car and ignored the genuine customer who had booked the session. They stayed for a further 15 minutes, disrupting and reducing the time available for the booked walk.

We install keycode access for your safety, security, and convenience. Please help us maintain this by ensuring the gate is closed behind you when you leave.

We understand that it may feel impolite to close the gate if another person is waiting to enter. If you prefer, you can ask whether they have the current access code before allowing them in. However, please bear in mind how frustrating it would be to arrive for your booked session only to find it interrupted because someone without a booking had been allowed access.
